|Online Adjunct Faculty in the Marketing Department
Beginning Summer 2013
The individuals selected will have the primary responsibility of teaching online marketing courses through the Business Administration / Marketing Department for various undergraduate programs and potentially courses in the online MBA program. The institution does offer marketing and business administration as majors. Adjunct faculty are staffed in courses as needed. Adjunct faculty may not have assignments every quarter.
RANK AND SALARY:
Adjunct faculty teaching in the virtual college are paid per credit hour, per student. Details pertaining to salary will be provided if selected to attend the online training.
ABOUT THE COLLEGE:
The College of Business associate degree programs are accredited by ACBSP and all programs are regionally accredited by the Higher Learning Commission / NCA. In addition to a hybrid evening One-Night-A-Week program, the institution has an MBA program and various Bachelor of Science and Associate of Applied Business degrees that are offered during the day, at night and virtually. To teach marketing, potential candidates must have a doctoral degree in Marketing or Business Administration with 18 hours of marketing coursework from a regionally accredited institution. (No degrees in Education, Adult Learning, or Higher Education will be considered.) Candidates with online teaching experience at the post-secondary level will be given preference. The institution currently uses Angel as the LMS used to deliver online courses. Training in Angel will be provided for candidates who are selected.
