Military Information

The UNOH Military Relations Department was established in 2001 and provides personal assistance to all military, veterans, and spouses, and facilitates with the scheduling, financial aid, and transfer of credit processes. UNOH accepts Joint Services Transcripts, CCAF, and honors credit equivalencies as defined by the American Council on Education (ACE) for military course work, experience, and testing programs, such as CLEP and DANTES.

The University of Northwestern Ohio is a private, not-for-profit University and strives to be military friendly with dedicated personnel and staff available. The University understands that the mission comes first and accommodates for extenuating circumstances.  UNOH is on a quarterly basis with four quarters per year: Fall (10 weeks), Winter (10 weeks), Spring (10 weeks), and Summer (8 weeks) with breaks between each quarter.

UNOH is a member of the GoArmyEd and AIPortal. UNOH is authorized to certify students who qualify for the following benefits: Post 9/11 GI Bill, Montgomery GI Bill, (Active Duty/ Selected Reserves), Survivors' and Dependents' Educational Assistance Program, and VA Vocational Rehabilitation.

There are NO OUT-OF-STATE FEES, and UNOH offers FREE, UP-FRONT TRANSCRIPT EVALUATIONS.  No residency is required.
